The Soaring Butterfly...It's a new year which means new inspiration, lots of motivation and a whole lot of art making. I felt it was well suited to start with a butterfly inspired art project because of the beautiful symbol it holds. I love butterflies and use it as a prominent symbol in my personal art practice, because it is a symbol of change, courage and the beauty of evolving. This art piece is simple, vibrant and a lot of fun to recreate. Let's Begin!  OTHER SUPPLIES: Items needed that are not pictured. Water container, paper towel and palette paper for paint. Marker and google eyes(optional) for drawing and eyes for butterfly. Step 1: Paint Paper Roll Step 2: Cut out Wings  Step 3: Glue down wings, paper roll and pipe cleaner antennas. Step 4: Attach chosen embellishments on wings and google eyes. Decorate background as desired.  Complete!I hope you really enjoyed this activity.
